San Antonio native, who calls herself a “good mixture”
of Spanish Mexican and Puerto Rican roots. “For a
dream like this, it’s better for me to stay positive
and think of the good things.”

now is her upcoming, yet still untitled debut album, due
out on Universal Records later this year. “I don’t
have a backup plan,” she says, without a hint of self-doubt
in her light Texas drawl. “I’ve dreamed about
this my whole life. Music is my heart. It’s all I
know.”
