Excuse Me, Miss
R&B’s Voyeur

story Dan Frosch photography Lionel Deluy

Ever schooled a girl on the reverse cowboy in an elementary school’s yard? then you and r&b newbie miss issa have a lot to talk about

Groupie love just isn’t Miss Issa’s thing. When this fine Filipina-Latina was offered a spot as a finalist on T-Boz and Chili’s UPN TV show R U the Girl, she looked over the super-restrictive contract and decided the document couldn’t deliver the tender loving care she was looking for. Not one to easily skip out on a spot in the limelight, Ms. Issa (pronounced Iza) Bayaua knew in her gut she had the talent—and looks—to go it alone. n She does, however, insist on having a partner when playing a game of dirty dress-up. “I hope to God whatever guy I am with knows how to role-play,” says the 23-year-old San Diego singer. Set to spice up stages in support of her debut album (featuring the Fat Joe-assisted single “Stay Up”), Miss Issa should have no troubles in the wardrobe department. And considering her erotic imagination, just imagine what her videos will look like. (No, not those kinda videos.)

So what bedroom techniques turn you into a soprano?
Well, I like being kissed on my neck, behind my neck. Sometimes biting on my neck.

I’m a writer, not a biter. But I can change.
Biting is cool. Kissing to biting. You’re making me blush!

Don’t be shy. What’s your claim to fame in the bedroom?
I’m good at role-playing.

We’re talkin’ nurse costumes from Ricky’s or bondage leather and a whip?
I don’t wanna comment on that, but I’m smiling right now . . . .
