Tecmo Bowl Returns
The classic football title returns for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network
Normally, when the NFL is done with their season, gamers put their Madden on the shelf while they patiently wait for the next installment. Tecmo has something to say about that, releasing their classic gridiron title, Tecmo Bowl Throwback. Exclusively for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, Tecmo Bowl Throwback stays true to the legacy the title has established since its release in 1987, sticking to 2D style of play (gamers have the option to switch to 3D graphics). Even though Tecmo doesn’t have the NFL licensing to use real teams and players, gamers will still relish in the old school fun that Tecmo Bowl has always provided.
Out with the old….
In with the new….
Check the features:
• 2D + 3D Graphics: Experience all new 3D graphics with the ability to switch to the classic 2D style!
• Customizable Teams and Rosters: Play as any of the 32 teams with customizable team names and rosters in full seasons
• Online Leaderboards: Compare your stats in a wide array of online leaderboards
• Classic Game Modes: Battle it out with your friends and kick off a game in Preseason, Season or Pro Bowl modes
**Look for Tecmo Bowl Throwback to hit Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in the spring.**
