REVIEW: “Big Dreams” - The Game
Even you probably get a shout out on here.
For no reward-able reason does Game have another hit, almost. To ignore the guy’s pathological need to shout out other rappers, “Big Dreams” is a solid patchwork of his strengths: A numbingly brash voice and a disarming chorus work in consortium on this track. Cool and Dre hand in a completely vulnerable instrumental which Game dribbles all over. But these nice words come at the expense of an indispensable truth: The song is about a minute too long. His third verse, particularly, is moronic. “Yo Jay, ‘what it do, nigga?’ I done rocked enough fellas to be you, nigga.” Gets dumber, every time. -Rodney Dugue

It’s gotten to the point where people don’t listen to Game songs to enjoy them, they listen just to count the amount of times he mentions someone else name so they can complain about it. I could care less if he makes a song that consists of nothing but other peoples names (it probably already exists), if the song is hot, its hot. Game’s name dropping is no worse than the Clipse mentioning cocaine in every track.

game is a good rapper and makes good songs,so what if he name drops or gives shout outs alot its no different then eminem still mentioning kim in songs, diddy mentioning B.I.G or any other rapper that on every song mentions selling coke or guns. i love hip hop and i like the game if u dont like him dont listen

Who ever reviewed this is a dumb nobody who probably never listened to hip hop, and that’s just the basic truth. I have listended to hip hop all my life, from the first to the new school witch is now. It’s not hate, It has nothing to do with that, It has to do with these new dumb asses in the industry and media now deciding for the whole world and tell em what is hip hop, to each his own phrase has become worse that it is that it got hip hop as well that now thay can prais a sucka just cause of his beat that is clubbin but his writen rhime may be shit that you would not notice as long as it’s on line with the beat, It’s no longer from the heart and thought hard to write it down.
To who ever wrote this that game ain’t shit, HE IS THE ONLY RAPPER REPRESENTING REAL HIP HOP. And I don’t hate any rapper or Mc, I collect everything, This world hasgone soo blind that the new generation plus the media who have hired dumb fucks who take this job and not really been a veteran of hip hop from the start.
Can’t really tell me nothing, Why is it that the Game is the only one keepin it alive but they don’t want to notice it, You lame ass club music fucks. I knew hip hop died before Nas said it, Right after Ja Rule Killed it with his pop and 50 finished it with his pop fever for money, I forced myself to buy their cd’s to just listen what hip hop has delivered,
Fuck it, cause no matter what i say, It wont stop, it won’t stop from bitches like you from talking and blinding the youth with your imature history of hip hop, instead of imbracing it, you double times destroy it, hat is what you imbrace even if your not rapping,

Hip hop is a voice from the ghetto, to rise up with dreams, not uplift hate an beef, you help that…..fuck it
Rodney Dugue go suck on your blow pop doll, and while your at it, think of how to better your job instead of talking shit to what you really don’t know, that’s hip hop.
