The Most Bizarre MC’s
From the Clown Prince of Hip Hop to a super villain hell-bent on revenge, we look at seven of the most out-there MC’s of all time.
7. Biz Markie
One of the MCs responsible for bringing rap to the mainstream, Harlem’s Biz Markie made hip hop history when “Just a Friend,” his off-key anthem to unrequited love, became a top ten hit. Even though the Biz’s other tracks like “Pickin’ Boogers” and “Toilet Stool Rap” wouldn’t find the same success, he’s had some memorable career moments, including paying tribute to Elton John on The Chris Rock Show and showing off his ample belly on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club. What else would you expect from an MC known as the Clown Prince of Hip Hop?

Definitely left: ODB and Dr. Octagon/Kool Keith/all his other alter egos. Def fathered MF Doom’s and Del’s styles. No one could touch ODB Enter the 36 Chambers. Way more interesting than Shock G.

Radnuw says:
Sadly, ODB light burned out in October 2004… I agree swifthustla that he was a real hip hop pioneer and .. his style.. (Old and Dirty and a Bastard because there is was no father to his style (at least that what was written in the Wu-Tang Manual) Thanks…

Flav isn’t that weird…especially compared to Kool Keith. From Ultramagnetic to ultra weird…but still dope. Leaving Black Elvis/Kool Keith off was a crime but a Del write-up with no mention of him founding Hieroglyphics? Come on…

Yeah, ODB should definitely replace Flavor Flav. In fact he is probably one of the only weirdo rappers that could replace MF Doom at the top of this list. Mf Doom kicks ass (especially his Mm Food album) but ODB rocks.
